It left a large hold in the wall. I ordered the bare front painted white which was a close match to the white trim already in this bathroom. I fastened the blank front end to the wall and mounted my towel bar to that. Makes it much sturdier. The blank front came exactly sized equally I requested and the paint quality was excellent. I will social club again (if someone rips anymore of my towel bars off the wall). It does brand a dainty emphasis to the bathroom though.
